Mission

Our murals are 100% custom designed to meet your decor, style, theme, color scheme and room architecture. They are not just a drawing. They are an exercise in story telling in the most basic form of shapes and colors to capture the attention of the little one’s as they grow and discover the world surrounding them. There may be a giraffe head peeking down, transforming shapes, funny looking clouds or just simple patterns with basic shapes and colors. In all cases, the goal is to convey meaning and interest to your nursery walls in the context of your home style and architecture. What we do is not just paint on a wall or decals or wall decorations. What we do is art because it comes from the heart in each and every case.

Service: Mural Design and Painting

The process and inspiration starts with you: the parents. We begin with a meeting to discuss your ideas, theme, wishes, furniture selection and layout, color scheme, budget…. everything that you think at that point will be playing a role in the design of your nursery. We will give you suggestions based on our experience for what may improve the design of your nursery to better reach your goals. Once you are ready to move forward with the design (whether it is at this meeting or a bit later), we will document the nursery room with measurements and pictures so that we can custom design your mural.

In about 5 to 7 days we email you various mural design schemes at various price points for our review. Our murals are priced based on size and design complexity. Our design submission to you will take into account your budget, theme, furniture layout and all other factors discussed at the meeting. However, we will send you design options under and over your budget so that you can gauge what can be done with your ideas and are able to make a more informed selection of the final mural to paint. There is one round of revisions based on our discussion of the design schemes in order to get the mural to exactly the budget and aesthetics you are looking for.

All the painting materials are exclusive of our fees. You have a choice of using regular paint or low-VOCs paint, which gives off less fumes and is more environmentally friendly. In either case, the cost of paints usually runs between $100-150 and it is reimbursable at the end of the project upon our submission of receipts to you.

Service: Custom Wall Art

Maybe you rent your apartment and don’t want to spend the money on painting a mural that you will ultimately have to leave behind. Or maybe you just do not want to commit to one look for the next 3 or 4 years. In either case, we can custom design and execute for you a piece of wall art to match your theme, style and color scheme. Just like our murals, our wall art tells simple stories to be discovered by little ones. Send us a picture, a fabric swatch, a sketch, anything you would like us to use as inspiration and we will provide you with a preliminary proposal for your approval before executing the final piece.

Service: Nursery Interior Design

We understand how personal and special designing a baby nursery is to every mother. As such, we are not in the business of designing your nursery for you, we are here only to support you on your design quest. The process starts just like the murals: with a meeting to discuss your goals, ideas, budget, etc. After said meeting, we will provide you with one design scheme (or as many as you would like us to consider) for your nursery. Each scheme package includes a presentation board with a collection of coordinated furniture items as per our discussion, a furniture layout, a color scheme, suggestions for bedding, drapes and rugs (if desired) and a list of places where to buy the items in order to meet your budget. As architects, we can also provide you with industry discounts on certain items that are only offered to professionals. There is one round of questions and answers included in our fees once you receive the package.
